“Art for me is a language, a subtle and profound tool with which one can explore every facet of life. I seek to transmute the intensely personal into the universal, expressing my understanding of what it is to be human. Here, each rose is the portrait of a woman, and each portrait captures an essential moment in her journey.” – Lisa Wagner
When Lisa Wagner’s Single Women, a moving series of dauntless, joyful, introspective roses, was first exhibited in Berkeley, California, the five original paintings sold immediately. Thanks to the enthusiastic support of collectors who felt it important to share the work, a limited edition of very high quality prints is now available.
The original series of Rose paintings immediately sold out when first exhibited in 1995. We are proud to make available an original painting from that series, “Yes!”.
